My name is Stephanie Capps and I am the School Counselor/Social Worker for the Wilson Elementary School. I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina but have made Jackson my home. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and am also a Certified School Social Worker and LIcensed Clinical Social Worker. Prior to working for the School District, I worked for the Hirschfield Center for Children and as a Child and Family Therapist in a private practice. I am also a Mom, and am happy to help with parenting support for our families.
I have an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Performing Arts, so don't be surprised if you see me singing with a chamber choir or jazz band or performing in plays with local theatre companies. I love hiking, biking and skiing and all that the mountains have to offer and equally love being at the family beach house in North Carolina.
